Misocare Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Misocare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI voice and messaging platform (“Services”).
1. Overview
Misocare provides an AI-powered voice and messaging system that helps businesses manage customer interactions, including calls, messages, and bookings.
We process data on behalf of our customers (businesses) and also collect limited data to operate and improve our Services.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information Provided by Businesses (Customers)
When you use Misocare as a business, we may collect:
- Business name and contact details
- Phone numbers and communication channels
- Integration data (e.g., calendar access, CRM data)
- Configuration data (e.g., scripts, workflows)
B. Information from End Users (Callers / Customers)
When your customers interact with Misocare, we may collect:
- Name and contact details (if provided)
- Call audio recordings
- Call transcriptions and message content (e.g., WhatsApp conversations)
- Appointment or booking details
C. Automatically Collected Data
We may automatically collect:
- Call metadata (time, duration, outcome)
- Usage data (features used, interactions)
- Device and connection information (IP address, browser type)
3. How We Use Information
We use data to:
- Provide and operate the Services
- Process calls, messages, and bookings
- Generate call summaries and analytics
- Improve AI performance and system reliability
- Provide customer support
- Ensure security and prevent abuse
We may use aggregated and anonymized data to improve our systems. This does not include data received from Google Workspace or other Google APIs, which is never used to develop, train, or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models. See Section 7 (Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure).
4. Data Processing Role
- Misocare acts primarily as a data processor on behalf of businesses using our platform
- The business (our customer) is the data controller responsible for how customer data is used
- Businesses are responsible for obtaining any required consent from their customers
5. Call Recording & AI Processing
By using Misocare, you acknowledge that:
- Calls and messages may be recorded and transcribed
- AI systems process conversations in real-time
- Data may be temporarily transmitted to third-party providers to deliver the service
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to operate our Services, including:
- Telephony providers (e.g., Twilio)
- Voice AI providers
- Cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp)
- Calendar and CRM integrations
These providers may process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
7. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure
Misocare’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Misocare uses Google Workspace APIs solely to facilitate scheduling and booking functionality on behalf of our clients. We do not use Google Workspace data to develop, train, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Google user data is used only to provide personalized services to the client from whom it originated, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
When you connect a Google account (for example, to enable Google Calendar scheduling), Misocare requests only the minimum scopes needed to provide that feature. Specifically:
- We only use Google user data to provide and improve the user-facing features you explicitly request, such as reading and creating calendar events for bookings.
- We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other unrelated purpose.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless (a) we have your explicit consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or (c) the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
You can revoke Misocare’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
8. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell personal data.
We may share data:
- With service providers (to operate the platform)
- With the business using Misocare (your client)
- When required by law or legal process
9. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Services
- Meet legal or contractual obligations
Businesses may request deletion of data associated with their account.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including:
- Secure storage of credentials
- Access controls
- Encryption where appropriate
However, no system is completely secure.
11. Your Rights (End Users)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access your data
- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Object to processing
Requests should typically be directed to the business you interacted with.
12. International Data Transfers
- Data may be processed in countries outside your own
- We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place
13. Children's Privacy
- Misocare is not intended for use by individuals under 18
- We do not knowingly collect data from children
14. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time
- Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated policy
